Our visit to the Piedmont Wine Festival in Orange,Va.

Our recent visit to the Piedmont Wine Festival was an enjoyable weekend jaunt. For $20.00 you receive a wine glass and tastings from numerous local wineries.There were several food vendors,local crafters and a live band. I had read online that there would be activities for the children,but all I saw was a deflated moon bounce,not the place for kids anyway.Held at a local park I was a little dismayed that the event was located out in the open next to a ball field with no shade to be found. There was very little seating and had there been more info or pictures on the website I would have brought my camp chair. I've been to better,but all in all a great way to get out and enjoy a lovely Fall day. If you've never attended a wine festival I encourage you to do so.
